We have an information & vision meeting planned for Tuesday, August 27th, at 6:30 pm, at Cornerstone Church. This meeting is for everyone who considers Cornerstone their home church or is interested in making Cornerstone their home church. We will discuss our financial budget, explain our leadership structure and share some vision moving forward. Our hope is that it will help explain some of the structure that's often behind the scenes and inspire us all to be better at what we're doing. We would strongly encourage you to make the date work if at all possible.
Project Valor’s vision is to inspire, teach, and equip men to walk in Christ-like leadership.

Ladies, mark your calendars! THRIVE women's ministry has scheduled a pool party fun night! We have reserved the Kalona pool for Sunday, August 11th, from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Bring your children and invite your friends! We are asking that you bring a snack to share. It should be a great night to connect with each other before our new study begins in the fall. If you have any questions, please see Tori Lybarger, Elaine Yutzy, or Starla Schwartz. Food For All started in 2014 with Summer Lunch Program and the Kalona Methodist Church graciously offers the use of their building for these events. The mission of Food For All is to create community so everyone eats. They fulfill that mission by providing fun and educational forms of food hospitality to help alleviate hunger and social isolation within the borders of the Mid-Prairie school district. Their focus is loving God and our neighbors, which inspires and directs what they do. They welcome rich and poor, young and old, of any religious background or none, to work on creating and sustaining strong food and relational networks.
We are excited to be planning an appreciation dinner for all of the emergency personnel in Kalona. We want to be a church that serves the community and one of the ways we can do that is by saying "thank you" to those who run toward emergency situations that everyone else runs away from.
The dinner will be at the Kalona Middle School on November 15 at 6:30
